Get help with Keypiece

Find help for accounts, workspaces, the Keypiece plugin, and the secure MCP connection used by ChatGPT and Codex.

Install and connect the plugin

Install Keypiece from a supported plugin directory, then sign in to Keypiece when prompted. During OAuth consent, select only the boards and access level you want the AI client to use.

Until the public listing is available, follow the MCP setup guide to connect the production endpoint at https://www.keypiece.ai/mcp. Never paste an API key into the MCP URL.

Permissions and board access

A connection can access only the boards and scopes approved on the Keypiece consent screen. Start with view-only access and add write permissions only when you want the AI to create or update shared work.

To change access, revoke the existing grant from Keypiece connections, then reconnect and choose a new board and permission set.

Troubleshooting

  • If sign-in does not open, allow pop-ups and retry the connection.
  • If a board is missing, reconnect and select it during consent.
  • If a write is refused, reconnect with the minimum required write scope.
  • If a connection is stale, revoke it and authorize a new connection.
  • If tools are missing after installation, begin a new conversation so the installed plugin can load.

Revoke access

Revoking a plugin connection immediately prevents that grant from accessing Keypiece. It does not remove your Keypiece account, board membership, or other independently authorized connections.
